Paul Durst Award

09 2015

At the seat of the University of Padova in Brixen, young scientists are awarded for special merits in research in the field of Bioengineering. Every year in September, Microtec and the association "Friends of the University of Padua" make this special award available, in memory of one of the founders and friend of the Microtec CEO, Federico Giudiceandrea.

Paul Durst, visionary scientist and physician died at young age in 1982 while returning from a field service.

The long lasting collaboration between Microtec and the department of bioengineering of the University of Padua, is thriving good partnership and is leading to take over also collaborators for the company itself.

We wish all the young scientists all the best and success for the future.
