'It’s always worth taking a look' - that is what the 14 interns think about spending their summer at Microtec. For many of them it is already their second or third experience in the company, because they have learned to appreciate their colleagues and simply enjoy their work.
Whether in Administration, Automation, Customer IT, Production, Planning (M-Design) or in Marketing, extra arms are always needed, especially in the summer months. Being able to rely on motivated students who already know the company and carry out their tasks with great motivation is certainly a benefit for the company.
On the other hand, the trainees have the opportunity to spend these summer months in different departments and, as active members of our team, get to know new processes and workflows on a daily basis. The 14 young guys and girls, from 5 different high schools and 2 universities, particularly appreciate the various and exciting activities, which help them to understand what their own strengths and weaknesses are.
Many of them will work here with us until the end of August, before returning to their schools or universities. We would like to thank the trainees for their interest and commitment, wish them much success for their future and we obviously hope to welcome some of them back to Microtec soon.
The main reasons why Julian, Kevin, Patrick, Mattia, Alex, and Jacob decided to perform their internship at Microtec's Assembling and Installation department are the advices of their friends, the common interest in the niche market, in which the company operates, and especially their curiosity to learn new things about electronics and innovative technologies.
The activities that Markus and Patrick carry out in the Automation department are interesting and constructive, especially working with programs such as E-Plan or TIA-Portal gives them great satisfaction.
Even if the assigned tasks sometimes seem a bit difficult to Michael e Mattia from the Customer IT, they see them as an opportunity to acquire more skills in their professional field.
Maximilian and Gabriel decided to do their internship in the Application Programming department after seeing a presentation about Microtec at their school. Right from the start, their expectations were met, especially as they were given interesting and stimulating tasks.
